Services page, generic template copy

"We are the industry leader in HVAC solutions, leveraging cutting-edge technology and unparalleled expertise to deliver world-class service to our valued clients. Contact us today for a free, no-obligation quote!"

Services page, written for contractors

"Furnace not keeping up? AC making weird sounds? We handle residential HVAC repair, maintenance, and installation across Winnipeg. 24-year track record, licensed, insured. Call 204-555-0100 and we're usually out the same day."

What's included

Real copy for real contractors.

Every page on your website written in a tone that reads like a capable contractor wrote it. Because when a customer lands on your site, that's exactly what they want to see.

1

Written for your trade

HVAC, electrical, plumbing, roofing, general contracting, excavation, and more. Each trade has its own vocabulary, pain points, and buyer psychology. I write to match.

2

SEO-optimized

Copy includes your focus keywords naturally (not stuffed), proper heading structure, and keyword variations. Rank Math sees green on every page.

3

Built around your business

I use your facts, services, experience, and voice. Your intake form provides the source material. I turn it into copy that sounds like you, not like a template.

4

Conversion-focused structure

Every page has a clear purpose and next step. Service pages push to contact. Home page routes people to the right service. No dead ends.

5

You approve every word

Draft sent for review before site build begins. You edit, reject, or approve. No page goes live with copy you didn't read and agree to.

6

Call-to-action integration

Phone numbers, contact links, and quote buttons written into the copy naturally. Customers always know the next step.

Coverage

All 5 base pages, written to convert.

The $349 flat fee covers complete copy for every page in your base website package. Each page has its own job, and each gets the right structure and tone to do it.

What I write for you:

Home Hero headline, intro, trust signals, service overview, clear next steps for 3 customer types
Services Full service list with descriptions, pricing signals, scope explanations, and CTA after each service
About Your story, your team, your experience, credentials, and why customers should pick you over competitors
Gallery Project captions, before-and-after descriptions, category explanations, and context for each photo
Contact Service area, response time expectations, contact methods, and what to expect when they reach out
Meta & SEO Page titles, meta descriptions, and image alt text for every page. Rank Math-optimized.
How it works

Brief to approved copy in 4 steps.

Writing runs parallel to the website build. Draft is ready by day 2, reviewed by you, and finalized in time for the main build to use the approved copy.

01

Intake

Complete the standard intake form plus the content brief. I need your service list, areas, key differentiators, and voice preferences. 30 minutes.

02

Research

I research your competitors, local market, and top-ranking content for your focus keywords. You get informed copy, not guessed copy.

03

Draft

All 5 pages delivered as a single document for review. You edit, flag anything that doesn't sound like you, or approve as-is.

04

Finalize

One revision round to incorporate your feedback. Final copy goes into your site during the main build. Everything launches together.

How I write

Trades-appropriate copy, not marketing speak.

Contractors have a BS detector built from years of dealing with vendors. Your customers have the same detector. Copy that works reads like a real person wrote it.

Six principles I write by:

Every line of copy passes these tests before it goes to draft. If it fails one, it gets rewritten.

Plain language over industry jargon Your customer isn't a contractor. If they were, they'd fix it themselves. Copy uses the words your customers actually type into Google.
Specific over generic "24-year track record" beats "years of experience." "Same-day response in Winnipeg" beats "fast service." Specifics build trust.
Show, don't claim "Licensed, insured, and BBB accredited" beats "we're the best." Credentials beat adjectives.
Answer the question they have Customers want to know: what do you do, how much does it cost roughly, how fast can you be here, can I trust you. Copy answers those directly.
Short sentences win Mobile reading rewards brevity. Long-winded paragraphs get skimmed. Short, punchy lines get read.
Every page has a next step No dead ends. Each page pushes the reader toward a call, form, or the next relevant page. Websites convert when they guide.
Questions

What you need to know.

What if I don't like the draft?

You get one revision round to flag anything that doesn't sound like you. I revise based on your notes. If after revision it still isn't right, we talk it through and I rewrite the problem sections. Goal is copy you're happy to publish, not just copy that's delivered.

Do extra pages cost more for copy?

Yes. The $349 covers the 5 base pages. Each extra page (from the Extra Page add-on) adds $79 for copy. So an 8-page site with full copy costs: $999 base + $597 for 3 extra pages + $349 base copy + $237 extra page copy = $2,182 complete.

Do you use AI to write the copy?

I use AI as a research and brainstorming tool, same as most modern writers. But every final line of your copy is human-edited and approved by me before it goes in your draft. You're not getting AI output pasted verbatim. You're getting copy that's been vetted by someone with 27 years of trades experience.

Can I rewrite parts myself after delivery?

Absolutely. You own all the copy and can edit it freely in WordPress. Many clients keep 90% of what I write and replace one or two sections with their own voice. That's fine. The goal is your site, not my portfolio.

What if I already have some copy written?

Send it with intake. I'll incorporate what works, edit what doesn't, and fill in the gaps. Tell me which sections you want to keep verbatim. $349 still covers the complete 5-page copy whether starting from scratch or editing.

Will you write ongoing blog posts?

Not in this add-on. Content Writing covers your base 5 pages, one-time. For ongoing blog content, monthly service copy, or email campaigns, that's a service-level commitment handled by my full-service agency Primate Web FX.
